SIGNS & SYMPTOMS

Comedones (open and/or closed)
Inflammatory papules and pustules
Localised itching, burning, and possibly also pain
Nodules and cysts may also be present
Tongue is red, tongue coat yellow and may also be greasy (normal in mild cases)
Pulse is rapid and wiry or rapid and slippery (normal in mild cases)

INGREDIENTS
– Crataegus pinnatifida, fruit 山楂 191.2 mg
– Eriobotrya japonica, leaf 枇杷葉 191.2 mg
– Forsythia suspensa, fruit 連翹 191.2 mg
– Gardenia jasminoides, fruit 栀子 191.2 mg
– Glycyrrhiza uralensis, root 甘草 79.6 mg
– Lonicera japonica, flower 金銀花 191.2 mg
– Paeonia obovata, root 赤芍 191.2 mg
– Rehmannia glutinosa, root 地黃 191.2 mg
– Salvia miltiorrhiza, root 丹參 191.2 mg
– Scutellaria baicalensis, root 黃芩 191.2 mg

CONTRAINDICATIONS & INTERACTIONS
Avoid coffee, deep fried foods, high glycemic foods and hydrogenated fats. Minimise consumption of saturated fats and red meat. The affected areas should be kept clean.
Caution for those on anti-coagulant medications (i.e. Heparin, warfarin or aspirin).
Do not take at the same time of day as iron supplements as the tannins in crataegus fruit interfere with the absorption of iron.

Contains Glycyrrhiza, which potentiates prednisone and corticosteroids by prolonging steroid biological half-life; caution in patients with hypertension.
