CHINAMED MOOD UPLIFT 2 FORMULA JIE YU FANG

It is based on a combination of Tao Hong Si Wu Tang (Persica, Carthamus & Dang-gui Combination), which nourishes and activates the Blood, and dispels Blood stasis, and Chai hu Shu Gan Tang (Bupleurum & Cyperus Comb.), which soothes the Liver and disperses stagnant Liver Qi.

The herbs Polygonatum sibiricum (huang jing), Cullen corylifolium (bu gu zhi), Cuscuta hygrophilae (tu si zi) tonify the Kidney Yang and Essence, without being overly heating, so as to avoid injury to the Kidney Yin. The herbs Lycopus lucidus (ze lan) and Leonurus sibiricus (yi mu cao) have been added in order to reinforce the Blood activating action of the former formula to improve ovarian function. Chinese studies have shown that the combination of Kidney tonifying herbs with Liver spreading herbs may reduce prolactin levels and allow the corpus luteum to produce more progesterone.

– Anemone altaica, rhizome 石菖蒲 79.9 mg
– Polygala sibirica, root 遠志 66.6 mg

Dosage & Course of Treatment
– 6 – 10 capsules, twice daily.
– In severe cases and in the early stages of treatment (first 1 – 2 months) the dosage may be increased by 50%.
– Course of treatment: 3 – 12 months
– Allow 3 months before attempting to conceive.
– Discontinue use once pregnancy occurs.

Cautions & Contraindications
