Clinical Benefits
Fibroplex Plus may assist the symptoms of fibromyalgia and in the relief of muscular pain: Scientific analysis indicates compromised muscle energy metabolism and decreased ATP production in tender points are present in fibromyalgia. Magnesium is involved in the production of ATP in the mitochrondria to support energy production. A daily dose of 600 mg of magnesium has been shown to assist in the management and symptomatic relief of fibromyalgia, including symptoms such as pain and tenderness. Subjects reported a significant improvement in fibromyalgia pain within 48 hours of magnesium supplementation.
Muscle relaxation, cramps and spasm relief: Two mechanisms by which magnesium may induce muscle relaxation are; a suppression of the excitability of the muscle fibre membrane via acetyl choline inhibition and transportation of calcium out of the muscle fibre to inhibit muscle contraction and allow relaxation.
Migraines: Magnesium supplementation at a dose of 600 mg per day has been clinically shown to significantly decrease migraine frequency by 41.6% compared to the placebo group of 15.8%. Magnesium is involved in the control of NMDA glutamate receptors which regulate cerebral blood flow and play a role in pain transmission within the nervous system.

Directions
Adults:
Add 1 scoop (7 g) to 200 mL of water or juice twice daily.

– Magnesium glycinate dihydrate (Meta Mag® – Magnesium bisglycinate) 3 g (Equivalent Magnesium 300 mg)
– Taurine 600 mg
– Glutamine 500 mg
– Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) 300 mg
– Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate 269 mg (Equivalent Calcium 63 mg)
– Monobasic potassium phosphate 182 mg (Equivalent Potassium 52 mg)
– Acetyl levocarnitine hydrochloride (Acetyl-L-Carnitine) 118 mg
– Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 50 mg
– Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) 50 mg
– Thiamine hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) 30 mg
– Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) 1.9 mg
– Chromium nicotinate 250 micrograms (Equivalent Chromium 25 micrograms)
– Mecobalamin (Co-methylcobalamin) (Vitamin B12) 150 micrograms
– Selenomethionine 62.5 micrograms (Equivalent Selenium 25 micrograms)

Excipients: Malic acid, citric acid, flavours (natural tangerine and orange), colloidal anhydrous silica, steviol glycosides and calcium hydrogen phosphate.

Free from animal products, dairy protein, lactose, eggs, gluten, wheat, nuts, yeast, soy protein and salt. Free from artificial colours and flavours. Contains 52 mg of potassium per 7 g dose. Sweetened with steviol glycosides.

This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
