Clinical Benefits
Soothes the gut mucosa: Glutamine may supply a source of nutrients to the cells of the intestines, protecting the gut mucosa from damage and promoting repair. Gut Care for Kids also contains marshmallow, slippery elm and liquorice that are traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to soothe the gastrointestinal tract. Liquorice has been shown to soothe the gastrointestinal tract by inhibiting prostaglandin and lipoxygenase synthesis.
Liver detoxification: Turmeric, St Mary’s thistle, glycine and cysteine help to support liver detoxification. Gut Care for Kids may also enhance phase II detoxification via increases in glutathione by selenium and cysteine.

Directions
Children 2 to 5 years:
Mix 1 level scoop (5 g) into 50 mL of water once daily.

Children 6 to 12 years:
Mix 2 level scoops (10 g) into 100 mL of water once daily.

Ingredients

Each 10 g dose contains:
-Larix arabinogalactan (Larch) 2 g
– Glutamine 1 g
– Glycine 500 mg
– Pectin (Citrus) 500 mg
– Ulmus rubra (Slippery elm), stem bark inner powder 500 mg
– Cysteine 200 mg
– Zinc amino acid chelate (Meta Zn® – Zinc bisglycinate) 40 mg (Equivalent Zinc 8.0 mg)
– Selenomethionine 125 micrograms (Equivalent Selenium 50 micrograms)

Dry herbal extracts:
– Curcuma longa (BCM-95TM Turmeric), rhizome 100 mg (Derived from dry rhizome 2.5 g)
– Silybum marianum (Milk thistle), seed 29.0 mg (Derived from dry seed 2 g)
– Glycyrrhiza glabra (Deglycyrrhizinised liquorice), rhizome 238 mg (Derived from dry rhizome 1.9 g)
– Althaea officinalis (Marshmallow), root 75 mg (Derived from dry root 300 mg)

Free from animal products, dairy protein, lactose, eggs, gluten, nuts, yeast and soy protein. Free from artificial colours, sweeteners and flavours. Contains steviol glycosides.

Warnings
This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
