STATEMENTS AND WARNINGS
Due to potentially impaired metabolism, caution supplementing in those taking
MAOI medications. When improving natural thyroid hormone production through Tyrosine
supplementation, any doses of exogenous Thyroxine administration may need to be adjusted. Tyrosine has not been extensively tested for its effects during pregnancy. Health practitioners may prefer to avoid its use during pregnancy or lactation,
unless confident that its impact can be reasonably deemed to be safe or beneficial.
